This is the Family Aspic Recipe. With its play on words, this was created as an extra for my MA exhibition, to help you get into the word of the story. This recipe is based on a real recipe for a pork aspic rather than a human aspic. It was created to be subtle; the pieces of human such as the fingers, ears and nose are hidden in plain sight between the vegetables.

It was the most complicated piece to date, trying to make it all fit; lining it all up to be printed on my press, which isn't your typical wood engraving press. It was created using lemon wood and vinyl, which is an amazing substitute to wood. It's engraved the same way, just flatter and cheaper.

This print is perfect for a kitchen with its little hidden joke. No one will know if you don't tell them!
